Engagements (Wedding engagements that is)
Are a special chance to capture beautiful images before the wedding without the time limitations of the Wedding day. Couples can choose to go someplace special to them (perhaps where they met or the first date or just someplace they both love) or we can choose some place wonderful and beautiful together. I love cityscapes, mountains, forests, deserts, or any place interesting. Generally the best time of day is an hour or two before sunset to a little while after, the light is so pretty and soft. We can also add in family members, like your pet (dog or duck).
My goal at engagement sessions is to get to know the couple and help them relax about the photography portion of the wedding. After an engagement session couples tell me that they are not worried about my professionalism and ability to capture their wedding day photography (more relaxed equals better wedding and wedding day pictures).
